Dragons Egg From Lush Bath Bomb | Lisa's Beauty Spot

Dragons Egg From Lush Bath Bomb

First of all I'd like to apologise for the delay to this blog. I've been poorly (and still am...) and on a work trip (and still am too...) So it's all been fun and games! Anyway, onto the blog!

So me and Mark went to the Lush on Oxford Street on Friday 3rd July, we bought a tonne of products, which I really can't wait to share with you. We spent nearly three hours in there smelling and trying out the products which was great fun. If you haven't been I would seriously recommend it, as they have loads of exclusive products, and you pretty much test EVERYTHING before you buy. They'll even take products off the shelves to put in the water to show you what they're like (bath bombs, bubble bars ect)

The first product I decided to use, was a personal favourite of mine which is the Dragons Egg bath bomb. It's white and has a gold colour in the middle. Plus popping candy, I'll never forget the first time I used this and I heard all the popping in the bath, honestly I was scared.

When you first drop it in, it's very foamy and just white as you can see in the picture. It foams like this for just over a minute I'd say.

Here's a close up, as you can see it's very fizzy and foamy. At this point you can start to smell the citrusy-lemon smell. There is also jasmine in this bath bomb.

There's the golden centre starting poke through. This bath bomb also lets of floating.. thingies of colour. I don't know what they are, but they're a jelly consistency.

Here comes the colour! A pretty golden middle which smells lovely, like lemon sherbet. At this point was when the popping candy starting popping.

It almost dances around the bath tub and makes pretty swirls and patterns. At this point the smell was amazing, I could slightly smell the jasmine as well. It's such a fresh scent!

I heard a really loud popping and found this huge piece of popping candy!! I've never seen a piece this big before, well back in the water it went.

I'd say this bath bomb takes between 7-10 minutes to dissolve completely, it's quite interesting watching it change in that time. The gold is so shimmery and beautiful.

And here's the end result in the water. Beautiful, gold water. The smell is beautiful and you can smell it on your skin for hours. It's very relaxing. It softens your skin a lot, which is what makes it one of my favourites!

What is your favourite Lush bath bomb? What's your favourite Lush product and what would you recommend?

Thank you for reading!
