Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation | Lisa's Beauty Spot

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation

I got Urban Decays All Nighter Foundation for Christmas. I'm in the shade 0.5, which is their lightest shade. Urban Decay if definitely becoming one of my favourite brands! I just want to try everything!

It seems I was very lucky to be able to get my shade, cos it seems since I've been looking it's pretty much out of stock everywhere!

So, what do Urban Decay say? - "All Nighter Liquid Foundation provides full coverage with a modern matte finish that never looks overdone. Get serious long-lasting wear and a blown-out effect you never thought was possible. Perfect for all-night affairs and other scandalous activities, our revolutionary formula is also comfortable enough to wear every day. While Naked Skin complexion products are demi-matte, All Nighter Liquid Foundation is completely matte—but never flat (and it’s oil-free!). We loaded this formula with an insane amount of pigment (about three times as much as Naked Skin Liquid Makeup), so a little goes a long way. There’s no need to build coverage or apply multiple layers. This waterproof, paraben-free formula diffuses light to blur flaws for beautifully perfected skin as it mattifies and absorbs oil to reduce the appearance of shine." (Taken from the Urban Decay website)

Like I say, I got this for Christmas as I was lusting over it when it came out, so quickly added it to my Christmas List! The packaging is very pretty! I like it, I think it stands out a lot from other foundation bottles. It come with a pump. As for the product itself I LOVE IT! When it says full coverage, it really means it. It covers up every imperfection, and doesn't look cakey or junked up on your face, like some full coverage foundations can. I do find that it dries quickly, so you do have to work quite quickly with it, but it's quite easy once you get the hang of it. I always apply it with my damp BeautyBlender.

I suffer with normal/dry skin, and this claims to be for normal/oily skin, if I have dry patches it does cling to them, which is why I always make sure to properly exfoliate before using this product. I am not usually the lightest shade in a foundation, I'm usually the second or sometimes even third lightest - but this foundation does oxidise by one shade, so do bear that in mind. I would recommend getting colour matched in store rather than buying online just to be safe.

There are 24 shades in this range, all with pinky, yellow and neutral undertones. There are 21 in the Naked Skin range, so they've added another three to the All Nighter range.

These are my thoughts on the foundation, I honestly love it and I'm so excited that I got it, it's become a holy grail in my makeup collection.

Thank you for reading!
