Lush Cosmetics: Happy Hippy Shower Gel | Lisa's Beauty Spot

Hope you all had a great night yesterday for Guy Fawkes Night! (Bonfire Night, Firework Night)

Lush Cosmetics: Happy Hippy Shower Gel

My all time favourite Lush shower gel is Snow Fairy, which is of course Seasonal and it is a Christmas product, which breaks my heart. It's okay though, I stock up on it - so by the time the next Christmas comes around I'll just be running out, and it'll be time to stock up again!

I wanted to try another shower gel, and I saw Happy Hippy. The ingredient that interested me the most was the grapefruit. I don't like grapefruit, but know that it's great for waking up - so I thought that along with our power shower would be a great morning wakeup. I went for the 100gram bottle which cost me £3.95, I wanted to try it before buying the bigger bottle. It does smell lovely, very fruity and zesty and it did do a good job. I didn't need much, and I could smell it on my skin afterwards. Mark noticed it as well, and really like the citrus smell.

The main ingredients are fresh pink grapefruit juice, bergamot oil and frankincense oil. So, that's where the fresh, citrusy smell comes from. It is good for my sensitive skin, which I was impressed with. I may buy the bigger bottle of this, if I fancy a scent change from Snow Fairy. You can buy Happy Hippy here

For all my American readers, you can buy a 8.4fl oz bottle for $19.95 and a 16.9fl oz bottle for $29.95. The prices are the same in Canada, for a 250ml and a 500ml bottle.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter | Lisa's Beauty Spot

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter

Wow, I can't believe it's November... Where has this year gone?!

I have been using products from The Body Shop for around six to seven years, mainly there Body Butters and Body Polishes. My favourite products being the Strawberry Body Butter and the Strawberry Body Polish.I need to repurchase both as I just run out. Honestly though, I do love all of the strawberry range, and I highly recommend it!

I find this Shea Body Butter fantastic for use on my elbows and legs. I use it after I've shaved my legs, and I've found it quite soothing. It is deeply moisturising, and it smells lovely. It says on the tub that it is for very dry skin, and I agree! And it does help with dry patches!

It is now in a new style of packaging, so it looks a little different now. But it's still the same product. It can be purchased here or at your local Body Shop store. It comes in two sizes, 200ml which costs £14 and 400ml which costs £28.

For all my American readers, you can buy a Mega Sized Shea Body Butter (13.5oz) for the sale price of $21.60. (Normally $36) You can also buy a Mini Shea Body Butter (1.7oz) for the sale price of $4.20. (Normally $7) Bargain! And great if you want to try before buying the bigger size!
