Boots Extracts Gift Set

I was given this gift set last Christmas, I'd heard about the Boots Extracts products and was curious about trying them, so was excited to get them as a present. 

The set comes with four Boots Extracts products. A strawberry body wash, a cocoa butter body butter, a vanilla body spray and a coconut body scrub. They are all travel sizes. 

The strawberry body wash kind of smells like strawberry milkshake. It's a very artificial strawberry smell. When used, it leaves the strawberry smell on your skin, it made my skin feel reasonably soft afterwards. The bottle is 75ml. You can also get in the same scent a body spray, a body scrub, a body butter and also a gift set with just this scent. 

This cocoa butter is my favourite product out of the whole gift set. I was excited to use this, it smells lovely and has a nice thick consistency as you'd expect from a body butter. I normally use it after bathing and showering. Now that the colder months are here, I will be applying this a lot more regularly along with other moisturising products. You can buy the full sized product here. There is also a sugar scrub and a body wash with the same scent. 

I was excited to try this vanilla body spray, it's more like a body mist though. It has a very sickly smell and I don't really use it that often. I was quite disappointed in this product, as I heard about this spray and had heard great things about how nice it smelt, so I researched it online and found out that this and the other products in the vanilla range had replaced the original vanilla range, which was apparently so much better. You can buy the full sized product here. You can also get a body scrub, a body butter and a body wash. You can also buy a vanilla gift set. There is also this trio of body sprays available. 

   

This coconut body scrub was also disappointing. It didn't make any difference to my skin what-so-ever. I have only used it the once, and will try it again but it was a disappointment. It is a 75ml bottle. You can buy a full sized pot of this coconut body scrub, you can get a body butter and a body wash. 

The only product I will be re-buying is the cocoa butter body butter. The rest were a severe disappointment, but I'm glad I got to try them.

This gift set is no longer available, but I found three other gift sets similar to this one. I also found a Christmas gift set, which includes a mango and a spiced apple set. There are more gift sets available, some seasonal and some not.
