Lush Blackberry Bath Bomb
I bought this bath bomb in the Leeds Lush store. I planned to use it in a hotel we were staying in, but we got moved rooms and then we had a shower in the room. I used this product yesterday.
I looked on the website to get the list of ingredients and benefits from the product. It has frankincense oil which had a sweet, woody fragrance and is good for soothing and toning the skin. It also has bergamot oil in it which is sweet and has an uplifting effect. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension.
The product is lilac coloured, and says "BOMB" - it does smell like blackberries.
I dropped it in the bath, and it dissolved pretty quickly (about 3-4 minutes) - the smell wasn't as strong as it was before I put in the bath.
In the middle of the bath bomb is a paper note that says "BOOM BOOM" on it. Rather quirky!
The water goes a pretty lilac. The staining on the bath is a concern, and the staining to my skin. The point of a bath is to be relaxing, not to having to have a shower after and then have to scrub the bath. I probably won't buy this one again, my skin wasn't as soft as other bath bombs I have tried, and I don't normally have such a problem with staining. I'll stick to my night time bath bomb, which is Twilight.
