Lush Cosmetics: Skin's Shangri La Facial Moisturiser | Lisa's Beauty Spot

Lush Cosmetics: Skin's Shangri La Facial Moisturiser

I was so happy when I discovered this amazing moisturiser. For years I have struggled with very dry and very tight feeling skin. I've tried many moisturisers and have been very disappointed, with them all having little or no effect on my dry skin. I went on a huge Lush haul a few months ago, and included in that haul was Skins Shangri La Facial Moisturiser. I'd heard about it from a few friends blogs, and how impressed they were with the product.

I was skeptical at first - priced at £29.50 for a 45gram pot, it puts a dent in your bank account. But, I can honestly say... This is the holy grail of facial moisturisers. And, I'm not surprised. Nearly everything I have tried (Apart from a few bath bombs I've tried and haven't really liked or gotten on with) from Lush is so luxurious and fresh smelling, and has been fantastic for my skin.

Some of the ingredients in the product include Queen of Hungary Water, which is toning and fragrant. It is made with water, rosemary and vodka (27 shots of Vodka in each 45gram pot) There is also beeswax, fresh wheatgrass juice, organic jojoba oil, seaweed, Fair Trade Aloe Vera Gel, Fair Trade Almond Oil, Fair Trade cocoa butter, extra virgin coconut oil and a vanilla blend.

To use: After cleansing your face, place a five pence size (one cent coin) of the product on your fingers, and gently rub into the skin. A little goes a long way. I use this as part of my night time routine every night now, and the difference in my skin has been amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing how much this product helps my skin in the colder weather, which is just around the corner.

I really recommend this product if you have dry skin that you haven't found the answer for, it'll be the best £30 you've ever spent and can be bought here. For all my American readers, this product costs $49.95 for a 1.5 oz pot and can be bought here.
